Hostel blocks are available for both boys and girls to accommodate strength of 500 students. The hostel is running on, no loss and no gain basis. The total expenditure for boarding and providing amenities to all hostel dwellers shall be met from the residential and other applicable charges collected from the hostel inmates. The students can approach any of the hostel officials for help, guidance and grievance redressal. Representations to higher officers must be forwarded through proper channel.
The Hostels of University College of Engineering Arni is administered by the following officers;

Deputy Warden (Girls Hostel) : Dr.R.Ezhilarasi, M.E., Ph.D
A student admitted to the University College of Engineering Arni is not automatically eligible to become a member of the Hostel.
Application for admission to the Hostel must be made in the prescribed form. Admissions are made subject to the approval of the warden. Before admission, each student has to pay admission fee, Caution Deposit, Establishment Charges, which may be revised from time to time. In addition to this, the residents should also remit the charges towards their boarding and lodging. Electricity charges, water charges and applicable charges for using electrical appliances need to be borne by the individuals. Every student, before being admitted to the hostel, shall give an undertaking in writing, endorsed by the parents, that he/she be full boarders of the hostel. While every effort will be made to accommodate all the aspirants in the Hostel, the following categories of students will not be provided accommodation for;
1. Those who have not cleared the Mess dues of the previous academic year.
2. Those who have not paid Caution deposit and Establishment charges in full.
3. Those who are possessing powered vehicles.
4. Those who were punished for violating the hostel rules in the previous year(s).
5. Those who have violated / boycotted the mess.

Drinking Water : Reverse Osmosis plant - Capacity: 1200 Ltr/Day
Water Heater : Hot water supplied for both hostels
Incinerator : Safe Disposal of Sanitary Napkins
Power Supply : Regular Stablized power supply & Generator with 30KVA and 20KVA capacity
Medical Care : A Government PHC is available adjacant to the College
Recreation : Television is provided for both hostels and Indoor & Outdoor games
